R&D Catheter Assembler**
**Pay: $20-24**
**Job Description**
Join our R&D team as a Catheter Assembler, where you'll play a critical role in developing innovative balloon catheters. You'll work closely with the NPI team to create prototypes, write SOPs, and support the development of catheters for design and clinical trial purposes. This position involves assembling catheters under a microscope, completing sub-assemblies, and performing visual inspections and final packaging.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform development-related duties as assigned by the NPI team.
+ Read and interpret assembly and test instructions and schematics.
+ Assemble prototype devices with minimal guidance.
+ Build controlled/pilot devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
+ Maintain accurate records, including training records and required paperwork.
+ Collaborate with other personnel to identify, define, and solve issues.
+ Train production or junior staff on assembly processes.
+ Understand, adhere to, and promote safety policies and practices.
+ Proficiently use job-related computer programs.
+ Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5-10+ years of experience in medical device assembly of catheters (preferably balloon catheters).
+ 3+ years of experience in prototype catheter assemblies, writing procedures, and working with a team to develop new catheters.
+ Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
+ Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects.
+ Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
+ Willingness to work under a microscope throughout the day.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in medical device assembly, clean room procedures, and catheter building.
+ Proficiency in assembly processes related to medical devices.

The position is in a clean room where specific attire is required, including masks, gloves, hair nets, and smocks. The role operates on a first shift from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
