Position Summary
The Welders role will utilize a team approach to achieve plant objectives, exceed customer expectations, and meet production demands.
The ideal candidate:
- Excellent attendance and willingness to work overtime if necessary
- Maintain a high level of safety by resolving hazards immediately
- Produce an outstanding product by maintaining quality that exceeds customers expectations
- Follow D.A.P.I.A. instructions for building product
- Ability to create a positive work environment through effective communication
- Maintain a high level of organization and housekeeping
- Follow ISO 14001 standards for the department
Skills and Knowledge:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to build by blueprints
- Achieve daily production schedule
- High level of safety knowledge in a welding department
- MIG and stick welding knowledge required (steel only)
Experience Desired:
- Welding in a high production environment
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mathematical and measuring skills
