Essential Functions

• Blueprint and specification reading.
• Has knowledge and understanding to plan for every task to be performed in a safe manner.
• Keep daily field records.
• Conduct weekly jobsite safety meetings.
• Manage workers continuously.
• Prepare employee payroll. Complete various company paperwork.
• Inspects work for compliance with specifications and safety requirements.
• Be responsible for Company tools and equipment.

Work Environment
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. This position is performed in outside weather conditions

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee must also comply with the companys drug and alcohol testing requirements

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work vary based on project needs. Overtime as required.

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred. Additional education a plus. M inimum 2 to 5 years experience working on a paving crew.
