- Lead mechanical engineering projects, providing hands-on technical guidance.
- Plan and develop HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems for healthcare and mission-critical spaces.
- Stay informed on building codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability practices.
- Maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle and participate in peer reviews.
- Act as a technical partner for clients, helping tailor solutions to their specific needs.
- Collaborate with business development to explore new opportunities in the Atlanta and Carolina markets.
- Support proposal writing, client interviews, and presentations to highlight the company's strengths.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align on best practices and contribute to leadership.
- Over 10 years of experience in mechanical and HVAC system design.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or on track for licensure in Georgia or the Carolinas.
- Experience with healthcare facility systems.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and engineering analysis software.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, energy codes, and healthcare design needs.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience leading complex mechanical projects from planning to construction.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelors or Masters).
- Experience with data centers and life sciences projects.
- Comfortable with client communication and business development.
The office is located in Atlanta, GA, with 10 employees based there. There is flexibility to work remotely, with the option of going in office Mondays and Thursdays.
