Experienced Journeyman Carpenter

Rohnert Park General Contractor has need to fill a role for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter with rough/finish carpentry. Our primary business is working with independent home owners and property management companies doing kitchen/bathroom remodels, room additions, decks, siding and much more... We value honestest, hard work and integrity. We need a reliable team member who can be well-organized, team player and takes pride in their work. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

15+ years of continuous experience in residential construction.
Ability to perform all phases of Rough & Finish Carpentry, with ability to read plans, perform layout tasks, frame walls/doors/windows, cut for stairs, decks and siding.
Must have expertise with finish carpentry tasks, which includes door hanging, cabinet installation, installation of crown molding, baseboard, and door casings.
Skilled experience in minor electrical and plumbing repairs is a plus.
Ability to make a variety of building repairs or new construction to framing, siding, drywall, decks, and doors.
Must have the ability to think creatively and problem-solve.
Ability to lead a team of 3 to 4 crew members.
Must be well-organized and proactively plan out daily job requirements for self and team.
Must be able to direct and mentor apprentice carpenters as needed to keep the job moving forward and team productive.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have own truck and tools.
Must be able to work in Sonoma, Napa and Marin counties.
Must have a reliable and verifiable work history in the building trades.
Must be \ driven to complete assignments on time.
Ability to communicate well with others (as needed). Bilingual a plus.
Drinking and recreational drugs will not be tolerated on job site.
Must be able to legally work in the US and provide proof.

COMPENSATION:

Competitive compensation determined by experience.
5-paid sick days annually as start of year provided.
