HVAC Installer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented HVAC Installer & Selling Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, servicing, and selling HVAC systems, with a strong focus on heat pump electrification. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system installations, educating customers on product options, generating sales, and ensuring compliance with city regulations, including meeting with inspectors to close permits.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Service:
Install, maintain, and repair ductless mini-splits, heat pumps, and other HVAC systems.
Ensure all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes.
Diagnose system issues and perform troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct system testing and provide customers with operational guidance.

Sales & Customer Interaction:
Educate customers on available HVAC products, energy efficiency benefits, and financing options.
Conduct in-home consultations, assess customer needs, and recommend suitable systems.
Provide quotes, close sales, and coordinate installation schedules.
Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business.

Permits & Compliance:
Ensure all installations meet permit requirements and pass city inspections.
Schedule and meet with city inspectors to close permits and address any compliance issues.
Maintain proper documentation and communicate with office staff to track permit status.

Requirements:
2+ years of experience in HVAC installation and/or sales.
Strong knowledge of heat pump systems, ductless mini-splits, and electrification.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong communication and sales skills with a customer-first approach.
Valid EPA certification (Type II or Universal).
HVAC Contractor License or NATE certification is a plus.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
