The Electrician HVAC will install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain various electrical systems, controls, and equipment.
Responsibilities- Maintain main electrical distribution panels, lugs, and connections on commercial HVAC equipment.
- Install building systems and components to include supporting Panel and/or Main Disconnect.
- Maintain amperage loads on HVAC equipment and other installed building equipment to ensure accurate loads are present at supporting Panel or Main Disconnect.
- Maintain conduit and electrical assemblies and components for HVAC supporting Panel or Main Disconnect
- Install, repair or replace, modify, loads, and test new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, panels, switches, breakers, and controls.
- Use and maintain various types of hand and/or power tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, soldering irons, cable pullers, hydraulic benders, and pipe threading machines.
- Ensure work orders when complete are properly filled out and returned to work management
- Support the project Safety Plan through personal involvement in all aspects of safety, including training and attention to the adherence to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades or skills.
- This position may be designated as mission-critical. Mission-critical personnel are defined as those required to meet the Installations safety (including inclement weather for snow and ice control operations ) and security needs during lockdown conditions.
- This position may be part of an emergency management/response team as required by the company to meet contract requirements.

- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum five (5) years of field experience equivalent to that of the journeyman level.
- Valid state drivers license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and ability to work with hands and knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and practices used a facilities maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved.
- Skill in the care and use of the tools and equipment in the trades involved.
- Ability to understand verbal and written description of technical work-related problems (i.e. drawings, floor plans, etc.)
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and standards regulating electrical construction and
- installation practices.
- Knowledge of electrical test equipment, instruments, and appliances used in the electrical
- trade.
- Knowledge of required work ranging in a variety of maintenance and repairs.
- Experience maintaining industrial or commercial electrical systems and components preferably in support of an industrial Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Industry experience in related shop mathematics and the interpretation and application of building plans, specifications, schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and sketches of all complexity.
- Facilities maintenance experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
