Nesco Resource is seeking a qualified Part-time CAD Technician on 1st shift. Monday-Friday 1pm-6pm with the potential of going full-time.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will create and modify detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or project managers. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software based on project requirements.
- Update and revise existing drawings to reflect design changes.
- Interpret sketches, notes, and specifications to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and project files.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry and company standards.
- Assist with material take-offs, layouts, and project documentation as needed.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D a plus).
- Previous experience in a drafting, CAD design, or similar role (typically 1-3 years preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of computer programs, such as Microsoft Office (email, excel & word)
- Experience with other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor).
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards (e.g., architectural, mechanical, electrical).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
