Job Summary and Qualifications

The Hospital Engineering Technician is responsible for performing advanced troubleshooting skills and repairs of all types of industrial and medical plant equipment. Ability to work unsupervised and mentor/coach other technicians. Strong knowledge in all aspects of physical plant equipment operation and ability to diagnose and correct system malfunctions.

What you will do in this role:

  • Perform daily routine maintenance duties as assigned.

  • Perform minor repair on all hospital related equipment.

  • Change pre-filters and final filters in HVAC system.

  • Provide initial response to general maintenance related service calls.

  • Perform plumbing repair.

  • Perform electrical repair.

  • Perform all repairs on general maintenance equipment as assigned.

  • Perform repair on door hardware, self closing devices and door locks.

  • Assist other mechanics on projects as assigned.

What Qualifications you will need:

  • Associates Degree or Technical/Vocational Degree

  • Over 5 years direct healthcare experience

  • Drivers License
