Job Overview:

  • The Field Superintendent will be responsible for planning and organizing all field construction activities for a project, ensuring that it is finished safely, in a quality manner, on schedule, and within budget, while developing and maintaining a positive company reputation with the client and community. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional projects that align with our mission and values.

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of construction documents, client objectives, and project goals.

  • Lead and manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.

  • Monitor project progress and performance, identify and promptly resolve discrepancies in construction documents.

  • Implement our collaborative process, fostering open communication and teamwork among all project participants.

  • Responsible for the daily scheduling and coordination of all on-site activities.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

  • Uphold our commitment to quality, integrity, and service in every aspect of project delivery.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.

  • Keep a clean, organized work environment, setting professional standards.

  • Support field staff through punch list, MEP equipment training, and turnover.

  • Cultivate positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to foster long-term relationships.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction supervision.

  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore preferred) and MS Office suite.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

  • Commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

  • OSHA certification preferred.

  • Construction related certifications desirable.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Could require travel and supervision of out of state projects.
