Maintenance Welder - (Day Shift)

Alter Trading Corporation Company, privately held company with several scrap metal processing facilities throughout the Midwest and Southern region, is searching for a Maintenance Welder on day shift at its Green Bay, WI. As a Maintenance Welder that can stick weld you will keep our facility operating by performing work on conveyors, changing motor boxes, changing bearings, stick welding.

Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Saturday possible based on operational needs.

Summary:

· The Welder operates welding equipment and assists with general maintenance needs.

• Welds/repairs trailers, roll-off containers and lugger containers.
• Repairs shredder, conveyors and other machinery as needed.
• May include fabrication duties.
• Assists the maintenance department with preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Operates hydraulic cranes and other equipment as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Safety:

Wears all necessary PPE when working in the yard. Follows company safety standards at all times.

Requirements:

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 – 50 pounds.

· Welding (stick) and fabricating skills are required

PAY RATE:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $28.00
