HVAC Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and take on the responsibility of installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical issues, and will be adept at performing necessary repairs and routine preventative maintenance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and control systems.
+ Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs.
+ Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and HVAC schematics.
+ Ensure compliance with all safety standards, codes, and regulations.
+ Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding service issues and solutions.
+ Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
+ Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of HVAC equipment as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or GED; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC service.
+ Valid HVAC license or EPA certification (Type II or Universal).
+ Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
+ Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
+ Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with building automation systems (BAS).
+ Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and green HVAC technologies.
+ Strong customer service and communication skills.
