Plumbing Shop Foreman (Part-time)

Reports to: Operations Manager / Project Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Plumbing Shop Foreman to oversee daily operations in our plumbing shop on a part-time basis (3 days a week). This role includes coordinating shop activities, managing material preparation and inventory, and delivering parts and fabricated items to construction sites. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and has strong knowledge of the plumbing trade.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the plumbing shop.
Oversee fabrication, assembly, and preparation of plumbing materials and components.
Deliver parts, materials, and fabricated assemblies to active construction sites in a timely and organized manner.
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials; restock and reorder as needed.
Organize and delegate work to shop staff or apprentices as applicable.
Ensure all shop work meets company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
Conduct routine safety checks and ensure cleanliness and organization of the shop.
Communicate with project managers, field supervisors, and purchasing to support project timelines.
Keep records of deliveries, material usage, and shop activities.
Perform minor maintenance on tools and coordinate repairs as needed.

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record; experience driving company vehicles for deliveries.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Physically able to lift and transport materials as needed.

Working Hours:
Part-time: 3 days per week (flexible scheduling available)
Hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
