This role will be based out of our Austin, TX office.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyzing photovoltaic and wind projects to monitor all the variables needed and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Configuring hardware, performing system testing, and ensuring quality standards and proper documentation for system integrations.
  • Creating single line diagrams for SCADA cabinets hardware based on project specifications and guidance from Project Managers.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to reach the schedules for deliveries, and providing assistance with general group activities.
  • Supporting the commissioning of SCADA systems, including on-site visits; up to 50% travel expected to domestic and international renewable energy sites.
  • Preparing technical reports, performing critical reviews, and delivering professional presentations to clients.

What is Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience delivering engineering and technical support for renewable energy projects, including solar PV, wind, and/or battery energy storage systems (BESS), at commercial & industrial (C&I) or utility scale.
  • Knowledge about industrial communication protocols like MODBUS or other relevant.
  • Ability to create single line diagrams (AutoCAD).
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to navigate seamlessly through the demands of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to craft clear and accurate reports and share technical concepts in concise manner.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to rent and drive a car and travel on public conveyances when required.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening.

What is Preferred:

  • Experience working with SCADA systems.
  • Knowledge of Linux and networking.
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Spanish speaking skills.
