Security Clearance: None/Not Required Join Collins Aerospace as an entry level Project Engineer, and work with the Mission Systems Supplier Request for Information (SRI) team. This role requires a strong foundation in classical Project Management, including action tracking, status reporting, task monitoring, risk management, and professional meeting conduct. Success in this position relies on exceptional interpersonal skills, as you'll collaborate with teammates to solve challenges, drive progress, and facilitate cross-functional teams. You will also independently manage project plans, track status updates, and oversee action items to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. This position will be at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager. What YOU will do: Support the Mission Systems Team, assisting in project execution and coordination. Manage Supplier Request for Information (SRI) processes, ensuring timely responses and accurate data tracking. Apply Project Management principles, including action tracking, status reporting, task monitoring, and risk management. Facilitate professional meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, solving challenges and driving project progress. Maintain project plans, status updates, and action items, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for documentation and reporting. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies, supporting quality assurance and regulatory requirements. Qualifications you must have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience. Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written). U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Qualifications We Prefer: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, for efficient documentation, reporting, and communication. Proficiency in specialized collaboration and time management software, including spreadsheet applications. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including searching, filtering, pivot tables, and formatting. Fundamental knowledge of project management principles, ensuring smooth coordination of tasks and resources. Understanding of core engineering concepts, with the ability to apply technical knowledge in practical scenarios. Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and concise interactions with teams and stakeholders.
