Nuclear Safety Manager

We are seeking a Nuclear Safety Manager who thrives in high-stakes environments and is driven by mission. In this role, you'll take full ownership of nuclear safety strategy-from system design and integration to regulatory execution-ensuring nothing gets built that isn't safe to operate.You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with elite engineers and regulatory experts, moving fast, solving hard problems, and making decisions that have real-world consequences. Objectives:

• Own the full lifecycle of Nuclear Safety documentation
• Manage the safety team for the evaluation and implementation of safety principles from reference plants into IROFS designs
• Oversee and document critical system interfaces
• Evaluate design changes against license applications per 10CFR70 requirements
• Collaborate with the Licensing group on ISA Summary maintenance
• Coordinate with various departments to maintain the Integrated Schedule
• Manage Process Hazard Analysis, Criticality Hazard Analysis, Fire Hazard Analysis, and External Hazard Analysis
• Develop and maintain Nuclear Safety Programs, plans, and procedures
• Lead major system safety reviews
• Ensure compliance with NRC regulations and safety standards
