Job Description: Construction Superintendent (Job Site Supervisor)
Position Summary:
MMC Contracting is seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all phases of construction projects at our job sites. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and MMC Contracting's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily on-site construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with building codes and company standards.
Maintain project schedules by planning and coordinating material deliveries, workforce needs, and work sequences.
Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients regarding project updates and problem resolution.
Review and interpret project documents, including blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
Maintain accurate daily field reports, logs, photos, and records of manpower, materials, and equipment on site.
Resolve on-site issues and conflicts as they arise to prevent delays.
Ensure proper installation methods and materials are utilized according to specifications.
Monitor and control job costs to meet budget objectives.
Lead by example with high standards of professionalism, work ethic, and jobsite cleanliness.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role in commercial or residential construction.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety management, and blueprint reading.
Ability to lead and motivate subcontractors and field crews.

$25 - $30
