Job Title: Certified Welder
Location: Bristol, CT
Shift: First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday)
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire / Full-Time
Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and certified Welder for a full-time, first-shift opportunity in Bristol, CT. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in MIG and TIG welding who is looking to join a reputable manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminum
Read and interpret blues, schematics, and welding specifications
Inspect and ensure welds meet quality standards and specifications
Operate power tools, grinders, and other metal fabrication equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations at all times
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Requirements:
Valid welding certification (AWS or equivalent)
Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blues
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment preferred
