This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: Responsibilities****Safety**:Conduct a complete pre-and post-shift safety inspectionObserve all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state,and company regulationsReport unsafe conditions, accidents or incidents immediately toSupervisorCommunicate with plant management on all safety needs**Job Duties:**Will accurately proportion materials in batches to load into ready mixand/or asphalt material trucks.Will work with Production, Transportation, and Dispatch departmentsregarding material delivery.Responsible for keeping accurate weight, measure, and billinginformation to ensure proper crediting to customer.Checks inventory control of raw materials, additives and/or specializedmaterials and notifies appropriate suppliers of production needs.Responsible for compliance with applicable environmental regulations asit relates to the proper operation of batch plant equipment.Responsible for daily inspection of facilities and will completemaintenance checklist.Will operate a front end loader when needed.Will work overtime as needed.Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmentalregulations, and with company policies and procedures**Position Requirements**2-4 years of batch plant experience highly preferredMaintenance experience a plusExperience working at an aggregates plant highly preferredWill operate heavy equipment (loader) when neededMust have high school diploma or GEDMust be able to lift 50 lbs.A member of the S&P 500 Index, Martin Marietta is an American-basedcompany and a leading supplier of heavy building materials - includingaggregates, cement, ready-mixed concrete and asphalt.
