**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance of pools, spas, and fountains on the client's campus. Key responsibilities include chemical use and testing, pump and equipment maintenance, pool plumbing, and all related tasks.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

+ Must be flexible to work weekends

+ Must live within designated radius of the job site to reliably work schedule/shift.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

+ Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds, with a focus on monitoring and maintaining the water quality of several pools, hot tubs, and water feature.

+ Test and adjust water quality through automated systems and equipment.

+ Working under close supervision, assists in monitoring building system operations and performance.

+ Some work will require confined space entry utilizing proper safety equipment and procedures.

+ Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

+ Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company directives related to building operations and work safety.

+ Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.

+ Completes maintenance and repair records as required.

+ Reviews assigned work orders.

+ Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.

+ Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.

+ Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include mechanical systems, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and fitness equipment.

+ Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

+ Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.

+ Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

+ Comprehensive knowledge of pool maintenance techniques and industry standards.

+ Minimum of one (1) year or prior experience as a pool operator or related experience/training.

+ Certified Pool Operator (CPO) is strongly preferred, must be completed within 90-days of hire.

+ Hands-on experience as a technician, including proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

**OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES**

Ability to service multiple locations independently and manage time effectively.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.

Physical capability to perform tasks in various outdoor settings and weather conditions.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail.

Strong communication skills for client interactions and service documentation.
