Contract) Safety Manager**
**Job Description**
This position is a contract-only opportunity where you will be responsible for ensuring all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) precautions are properly carried out. You will play a critical role in analyzing data to determine its quality, validity, and scientific significance, while communicating with the organization regarding technical and safety procedures. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and support coordination on various safety issues, organize workshops, meetings, and training sessions concerning EHS matters, and prepare informative materials such as charts, graphs, and presentations on EHS relevance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure all EHS precautions are properly implemented.
+ Analyze data for quality, validity, and scientific significance.
+ Communicate with the organization about scientific, technical, or safety procedures.
+ Provide technical guidance and coordinate support on various safety issues.
+ Organize workshops, meetings, and training sessions regarding EHS issues.
+ Prepare charts, graphs, and presentations to provide information on EHS relevance.
**Essential Skills**
+ Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other related laws and regulations.
+ Management of safety programs including Industrial Ergonomics, Control of Hazardous Energy, Permit Required Confined Space Entry, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communication, Bloodborne Pathogens, Emergency Action Plans.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to use scientific rules and methods to solve problems.
+ Skilled knowledge of safety system analysis.
+ Effective problem-solving skills.
+ Understanding of chemical compositions, structures, and properties.
+ Ability to work effectively under pressure.
+ Advanced time management skills.
+ Self-motivated and proactive.
+ Ability to train adult learners of all ages for EHS program compliance.
**Work Environment**
The role is based in a climate-controlled environment. The shift is Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm, with a flexible schedule available on Saturdays.

This is a Contract position based out of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
