Cad Designer

Growning manufacturer south of Arkansas City is seeking a CAD Designer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience using Pro-E/Creo or similar 3-D software to create drawings of weldments and assemblies. Degree preferred but not required. Familiarity with plasma cutting, laster cutting and welding highly preferred. Excellent benefits and relocation.

responsibilities:

• Create drawings of assemblies, weldments and individual manufactured components used in the fabrication of specialty steel trailers, as well as other various product lines.
  
  
• Design pieces of equipment that are 80,000 and above GVW. (Similar experience may be considered).
  
  
• Research cost-effectiveness and safety of designs as well as usability and environmental impacts

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Pro-E/Creo software or similar 3-D package
  
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
  
• ERP knowledge
  
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  
  
• strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing and welding/fabrication
  
  
• B.S. preferred but will consider related experience in manufacturing
