Sr. RS Cabinet Finisher (4229) Third Shift

Summary: Seeking a Senior RS Cabinet Finisher for third shift to perform complex repairs and apply finishes to aircraft furniture.

• Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in wood finishing processes
  • Advanced knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products
  • Computer literate

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in aerospace industry
  • Working knowledge of inspection, process specifications, and terminology

• Responsibilities:

  • Perform high quality repairs to finished surfaces of aircraft furniture
  • Apply finishes using spray equipment and manual/mechanical methods
  • Interpret material specifications to meet design and engineering requirements
  • Coordinate with Design group for compliance with customer approved samples
  • Champion safety, housekeeping, and aircraft interior protection
  • Mentor and train lesser skilled technicians
  • Develop process improvements using Lean Six-Sigma tools
  • Utilize material tracking system for parts demand, squawks tracking, and work sign-off

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
