Sr. RS Cabinet Finisher Weekend Days

Summary: Seeking a Sr. RS Cabinet Finisher for performing complex repairs and applying finishes to aircraft furniture.

• Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in wood finishing processes
  • Advanced knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products
  • Must be computer literate

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in aerospace industry
  • Working knowledge of inspection, process specifications, and terminology

• Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality repairs to aircraft furniture surfaces
  • Apply finishes using spray equipment and manual/mechanical methods
  • Interpret material specifications to meet design requirements
  • Coordinate with Design group for compliance with design samples
  • Champion safety, housekeeping, and aircraft interior protection
  • Mentor and train less skilled technicians
  • Develop process improvements using Lean Six-Sigma tools
  • Utilize material tracking system for part demands and work sign-off

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
