Job Description

Join a leading Connecticut steel fabrication provider specializing in the design, construction, delivery, and installation of metal structures. This position offers the opportunity to work with a trusted business in the steel industry, making an indispensable impact on structural steel projects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize project files, including contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and progress reports.
  • Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Facilitate communication between project team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain subcontractor information and ensure adherence to building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the project team, including managing correspondence and scheduling meetings.
  • Collect, verify, and track the validity of COIs from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Request, collect, and maintain W-9 forms from all vendors and subcontractors.
  • Handle lien waivers, subcontractor invoicing, and payments.

Work Environment

The position is based in Berlin, CT, with office hours from 7am to 3pm, offering flexibility. The role is on-site at a newly acquired 6.2-acre facility, which is currently undergoing renovations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team at the ground floor and work directly with the owner in a dynamic environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
