ABOUT THE ROLE
Dority Roofing and Solar is looking for a motivated Roofer Apprentices to join our exceptional team. This is a full-time opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced roofers in Monterey County, with a direct path to journey level status.

RESPONSIBILITIES
** Arrive on time and ready to work in a physically demanding environment
** Assist with roof tear-offs, installations, repairs, and cleanup
** Learn proper use of tools, materials, and safety procedures
** Work alongside experienced roofing professionals
** Follow job site protocols and contribute to a safe, productive worksite
** Progress toward independent, skilled roofing work

REQUIREMENTS
** Strong work ethic and willingness to not just learn, but learn the right way
** A love of working outdoors
** Ability to work at heights and on steep surfaces
** Punctual and dependable
** Ability to lift 50+ lbs
** Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
** Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
** Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
** Experience in roofing, construction, solar installation or other trades
** Skills in painting, carpentry, metal work, or electrical
