Industrial Mechanic Baking Manufacturer

Day Shift 6AM (start time)

A commercial baking manufacturer is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to support one of its multiple production facilities in Ontario.
The Industrial Mechanic s dedicated to preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair of high-speed baking and packaging equipment.
The Industrial Mechanic works closely with the production team to reduce downtime and maintain equipment reliability in a fast-paced, food-grade manufacturing environment

Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on bakery and packaging equipment
Diagnose mechanical issues and respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize production downtime
Support production by ensuring equipment is running efficiently and safely
Maintain conveyors, mixers, ovens, proofers, dividers, slicers, flow wrappers, bagging systems, and scaling systems
Keep accurate maintenance records and follow all GMP, food safety, and health & safety standards

Qualifications
6+ years of maintenance experience in a baking or food manufacturing environment (a must)
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ability to read mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics
