Senior Architect

Kelly Architectural Services is offering a position for a Senior Architect. KAS has been in business 32 years and relies upon repeat customers and personal referrals for its on-going business operations. We handle each project with a personal approach customized to our clients, balancing cost, quality, and time in an effort to achieve our clients goals. The Senior Architect will be required to manage several small and medium projects simultaneously. A working knowledge of construction project design, financial management, and business administration is required. The candidate must have superb communication skills to direct staff, instruct contractors, and advise customers in the many facets of technical problems associated with building design and construction.

Normally, the types of work includes:

preparing and presenting design proposals to clients

advising clients

managing the production of detailed drawings by staff

negotiating with contractors and other professionals

attending regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists

coordinating the work of contractors with owners

making site visits to check on progress and payments

dealing with problems that might come up during building construction

A professional degree in architecture is required, plus a minimum of five years experience is preferred.

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
