Site Safety Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a Site Safety Manager with proficient knowledge of construction safety principles, techniques, and methods. The ideal candidate will possess practical knowledge of OSHA laws, regulations, and policies, and be capable of identifying known potential exposures and recommending corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures on construction sites.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA laws and regulations.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct safety training sessions and workshops.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and suggest improvements.
Essential Skills
  • Safety management experience in construction settings.
  • Proficiency in OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 standards.
  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety Management or Engineering preferred.
  • 3-5 years of construction safety management experience.
  • BCSP credential or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

The position requires onsite presence at construction sites in Richmond, where you will have the opportunity to work on two significant projects. The role demands adaptability to a dynamic environment and adherence to strict safety protocols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
