AEROTEK IS HIRING FOR 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT BRAKE PRESS OPERATORS IN KENOSHA AND RACINE Job Description The Press Brake Operator is a skilled position responsible for the setup and operation of CNC controlled forming, cutting, and rolling equipment. This role involves assisting with the operation and setup of machinery, and potentially training less experienced operators. The operator receives specific work assignments under limited supervision, resolving most issues independently. All work is subject to inspections and testing to minimize metal damage and control excess labor and material expenses. Adherence to department's 6-S standards and the Company's Six Sigma principles is expected. Responsibilities Set up and operate computer controlled forming, cutting, and rolling equipment. Assist in the operation and setup of machinery. Perform first piece and final inspections to ensure quality control. Adhere to the department's 6-S standards and Six Sigma principles. Essential Skills 2 years+ of experience operating a brake press 2 years of experience utilizing micrometers and calipers. 2 years of experience working with fabrication machines such as CNC, laser, and punch press. Ability to read blueprints. Work Environment The work environment includes both first and second shifts. The facility is clean and organized but not temperature controlled, which means it can become hot during the summer months. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
