Press Brake Operator - 2nd Shift**
**Job Description**
As a Press Brake Operator, you will set up and operate press brakes with precision and efficiency. Your role requires reading blueprints, understanding GD&T, and forming parts to specification. You will adjust back gauges, tooling, and parameters as needed while using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts. Completing documentation and quality checks to ensure zero rework is essential, as well as spotting issues early and making necessary corrections.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate press brakes with precision.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
+ Form parts to specification and adjust back gauges, tooling, and parameters as needed.
+ Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges for part inspection.
+ Complete documentation and quality checks to ensure zero rework.
+ Spot issues early and make corrections.
+ Coordinate with Material Handlers & Welders.
+ Help train others as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of machine experience, particularly in press brake setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints, including GD&T.
+ Good mathematical skills, with strong timing and process understanding.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work independently while coordinating with team members.
+ Experience with CNC operations is beneficial.

**Work Environment**
This role is for the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. There is a training period on the 1st shift from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM before moving to the 2nd shift. The work environment is a clean, safe, and well-organized shop, ensuring a focus on quality work without chaos.

This is a Contract position based out of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
