Electrical Design Engineer

A top Engineering Consultant is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their electrical engineering team for a 6-month contract/ to potential hire opportunity. This individual will be supporting existing industrial facilities (paper/pulp or food & bev. or chemical industries) as well as retrofit projects for all the design of the electrical/control systems. 75% of this individuals time will be spent designing in Revit & AutoCAD 3D for the client. Designs can include creating power distribution diagrams, grounding diagrams, single line diagrams and elementary diagrams for different customers, as well as carrying out design calculations (short circuit/ flash hazard, load flow and voltage drop.) 25% of the time this individual will be reviewing proposals, drawings and communicating with the project management team.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of electrical engineering experience

Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university (true engineering degree)

High voltage experience (industrial grid/ sub station/ power station)

AutoCAD 3D design experience

Revit design experience null
