Instrumentation & Electrical Technician Intermediate

Performs majority of I&E duties up to 55 Volts AC/DC with minimal supervision. Installs pneumatic tubing, electrical, and electronic installations on equipment in the production area.

Performs majority of I&E duties up to 4160 Volts AC/DC with minimal supervision. Installs pneumatic tubing, electrical, and electronic installations on equipment in the production area. Journeyman Electrician License a plus, VFD/PLC experience preferred.

Essential Duties :

• Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment.
• Perform Minor Electrical repairs and installs alone or as part of a team. Completes and submits required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion. Utilize on the job training of all shop mechanic personnel.
• Install pneumatic tubing, layout tubing on skids, and connect to end devices.
• Fabricate bracket braces and instrument racks.
• Install wire and cable laid by hand, and in cable trays.
• Assist with changes to panel selection, wiring, etc.
• Maintain a file of installation design and technique for new units through pictures and diagrams.
• Test control panels and make connections in compliance with 10lb pull tests.
• Perform unit certification, final inspection, and test document.
• Make final electrical connections after installation of conduit and tubing.

Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
