- Produce products in accordance with established specifications and report ongoing issues in product construction or operation.
- Support problem-solving efforts and contribute to product and process improvements.
- Manufacture and deliver complex systems following established procedures and solve technical problems as they arise.
- Oversee the entire process from assembly to testing and serve as a reference for problem-solving.
- Actively contribute to the pilot production process and transition to volume production.
- Develop and improve Technical Product Data (TPD), processes, and records.
- Investigate the impact of new procedures on the production process and suggest product improvements.
- Acquire and pass on knowledge of products, processes, modifications, sub-modules, and systems.
- Support teamwork by seeking solutions and implementing departmental tasks.
- Coordinate production plan activities and monitor tool, material, and equipment use.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Experience in lean manufacturing, engineering, kaizen, and process improvement.
- Skills in testing, prototyping, hand tools, troubleshooting, and electronics.
- Ability to analyze schematics and use test equipment.
- Strong computer skills.
- AS or BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Manufacturing internship or co-op experience.
- Lean Manufacturing Training (e.g., Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM) preferred.
- Mechanical skills.
The position offers multiple shifts, including 3rd Shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday to Thursday) with a 15% shift differential, and CWW Nights with daily overtime and a 15% shift differential. CWW Nights N1 includes Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6 PM to 6 AM) and Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday. CWW Nights N2 includes Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (6 PM to 6 AM) and Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday. The role is based in a cleanroom environment. Training for all shifts and offers is likely to be on 1st or 2nd Shift for 4-6 weeks.
