Fabricator Job Description In this role, you will operate fabrication equipment within the machine shop. You will be responsible for utilizing press brakes, plasma cutters, water jets, and CNC machines to produce parts for the construction of concrete pump trucks. Your tasks will include working directly from blueprints and written instructions. Responsibilities Operate press brakes, plasma cutters, water jets, and CNC machines. Work from blueprints and follow written instructions accurately. Perform MIG welding and assembly tasks as required. Ensure quality and precision in all fabrication processes. Essential Skills Proficiency in fabrication techniques. Experience with press brakes, burn tables, and plasma cutters. Ability to interpret blueprints. Skill in operating CNC machines and performing MIG welding. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with water jet technology. Knowledge of assembly processes. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is characterized by a clean and organized welding atmosphere. The shop is open and not excessively loud or dusty compared to other facilities. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm, with heavy overtime available, often extending from 5am to 3:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
