A Construction Project Manager is needed for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Marietta, PA area. This position will lead and manage large-scale pharmaceutical construction and engineering projects from design through commissioning, ensuring compliance, safety, budget, and schedule while coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

responsibilities:
- Manage construction/engineering projects for pharmaceutical drug substance and product facilities from concept to qualification
- Lead or contribute to facility design including systems, utilities, process and building automation, clean rooms, and effluent handling
- Oversee project delivery: bidding, vendor selection, contractor onboarding, construction phases, safety, equipment installation, utilities, pre-startup, commissioning (SAT, IQ, OQ), and asset transfer
- Lead project management tasks ensuring scope, schedule, and cost objectives are met or exceeded
- Develop and manage resource-loaded schedules, critical path analysis, cost control, quality control, change management
- Track and control project performance using KPIs like SV, BV, EV, CPI, SPI, OTCI, CSAT, NOCR
- Develop and execute construction plans for large capital projects
- Mobilize trades, equipment, materials, secure permits
- Implement and comply with OSHA and global safety standards to ensure zero incidents/lost time
- Generate Turnover Packages (TOP) for facility, utilities, process, equipment, and automation systems
- Lead checkout, dry/wet runs, punch lists, SAT, commissioning, IQ, OQ, change control, validation strategy, and protocol/report development
- Develop and deliver project communication plans including tier meetings, steering, safety reviews, gate reviews, and town halls
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, leadership, contractors, engineering, facilities, quality, finance, validation teams
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical project/engineering experience preferred
- Experience in design, construction, start-up, operation of large bulk biopharma drug substance and fill/finish facilities
- strong understanding of design, installation, commissioning, qualification, validation of pharma equipment/utilities
- Ability to interact with scientific, engineering, operational personnel at all levels
- Proven leadership in cross-functional, self-directed teams
- Comfortable with ambiguity and strategic problem solving
- Risk management experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Power Apps
- Background in regulated environments, design, qualification, troubleshooting processes and equipment
- Knowledge of biological/vaccine manufacturing regulations a plus

- Good organizational and leadership skills with ability to make critical decisions
- Effective both independently and in dynamic team settings
- Large-scale pharma project experience required

- PMP certification preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required
- Spanish language skills beneficial
