Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join their team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting critical production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Refrigeration Technician
**Location:** Tulsa, Oklahoma
**Pay Range:** Starting at $33.25 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate, maintain, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems.
+ Maintain HVAC systems in accordance with safety and performance standards.
+ Troubleshoot and maintain boilers, air compressors, plumbing systems, and related plant utilities.
+ Perform maintenance on mechanical systems: pneumatics, bearings, seals, chains, sprockets, gears, etc.
+ Participate in Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs and interpret results.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting (food industry preferred).
+ 2 years of formal education or equivalent experience in electrical, electronics, or HVAC.
+ Experience with ammonia refrigeration system operation, maintenance, and PSM compliance.
+ First Class Stationary Engineer license (required).
+ Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
