The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MILCON Project Manager to provide support at the NSWC Carderock site and coordinate military construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of military construction processes and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned MILCON projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Coordinate with military personnel, contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure project goals are met
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant military regulations, building codes, and safety standards
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and leadership
  • Manage contract administration and change orders
  • Oversee quality control and assurance processes

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years specifically in MILCON projects
  • Thorough knowledge of military construction processes, regulations, and standards
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite

Desired:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • PMP certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary DoD Secret Clearance
  • Experience working for the DoD
  • Experience working at the Carderock site

The proposed salary range for this position is:
