Full-Time | Onsite | Construction Superintendent

Join our team and lead field operations for municipal/public works projects.

Were seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to supervise field operations, oversee multiple Foremen and craft workers, and ensure high standards of workmanship and client relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop Jr. Superintendents
• Review and approve labor rates
• Manage contract administration and communication
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Attend meetings for planning and issue resolution
• Oversee job cost updates and cash flow projections
• Review, approve, and negotiate change orders
• Develop and implement project completion plans
• Maintain daily records and conduct performance evaluations
• Recommend organizational or staffing changes
• Approve promotions up to General Foremen

What You Bring

• 5+ years of construction experience, with 3+ years in a Superintendent/Leadership role
• Extensive experience in municipal/public works , especially water/wastewater treatment plants
• Proven track record with self-performing General Contractors (GCs)
• Strong background in process/mechanical work
• Experience with cast-in-place concrete structures
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in contract administration , safety , and project planning

Work Environment

• 100% field-based at a construction site or trailer
• 1012 hour days, MondayFriday; occasional nights/weekends
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in extreme weather
• Requires stamina, manual dexterity, and adherence to safety protocols

Must-Haves

• 5+ years in construction, 3+ in a leadership/superintendent role
• Water/wastewater treatment plant experience
• Experience with municipal/public works and cast-in-place concrete
• Background with self-performing GCs
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with safety, planning, and contract management

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
