Superintendent of Construction
Job Description

The superintendent of construction will work closely with subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. The role involves reviewing plans, monitoring schedules, and documenting progress with both pictures and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subcontractors to maintain and adhere to project schedules.
  • Review construction plans and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
  • Document project progress through photographs and spreadsheets.
  • Ensure construction supervision and safety standards are met.
  • Manage site construction and conduct project scheduling.
  • Work with owners to punch out the project.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in construction and construction management.
  • Subcontractor management skills.
  • Strong supervision capabilities.
  • Experience in safety and project scheduling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a superintendent on multifamily or commercial projects.
  • Proficient in documenting project updates and reviewing construction documents.
Work Environment

The position involves working on-site, requiring interaction with various subcontractors and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The superintendent will utilize technology for documentation purposes and must be comfortable with a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.40 - $48.07/hr.
