THE JOB:

We're on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Entertainment Carpenter Tech to join the team at Excalibur. In this hands-on role, you'll support the magic behind the scenes, working closely with the Production Manager to keep our sets, stages, and scenery running like clockwork.

You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $39.55/ Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Build scenery, props, and other items as directed, and learn to run show cues
• Support rehearsals and trainings as needed by the department head, artistic team, or stage management
• Take part in department safety checks, keep inspection records updated, and always follow safety rules and attend required safety and rescue training
• Write down any repairs and help document equipment, supplies, and procedures to keep everything running smoothly
• Help clean and maintain the theatre, showroom, shop, and warehouse
• Operate forklifts or similar equipment when needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Two (2) years of previous experience as a Stage Carpenter required
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
• Experience working with livestock animals preferred
• Working knowledge of metal fabrication skills, theatrical rigging hardware and techniques, cabinetry construction, and scenic painting preferred
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
