Location: Hastings, NE

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: 1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our client's team. This position involves welding metal components using TIG welding techniques based on layout, diagrams or blueprints. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

TIG weld metal components to fabricate or repair products.

-

Read and interpret welding diagrams, blueprints and layouts.

Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure components before final welding.

Perform accurate measurements using tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers and other precision instruments.

Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Complete assigned tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

-

Must pass a TIG weld test.

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.

Strong written communication skills for reports and documentation.

Proficient in basic math, including fractions, decimals, percentages and interpreting bar graphs.

Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as tape measures, protractors, combination squares, calipers and micrometers.
