Leveling (pay) is determined during the interview process based on
skillset, knowledge, and experience.
We are offering a **\$5000 sign on bonus** for new hires. The bonus is
paid out in \$2500 following completion of 90 days and \$2500 at
completion of 180 days. \*
\*Rehires are not eligible for sign on bonus.
This position is on a rotating schedule. The hours are 6:00pm - 6:00am.
Role Overview:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and
repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work
environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
In this job you will:
- Be responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous
production.
- Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
- Perform single phase and 3 phase electrical troubleshooting and
repairs on production and plant equipment.
- Perform fabrication and welding job duties as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by your supervisor.
- Learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily
documentation that is required in the system.
- Read manuals, diagrams, part lists, blueprint, schematics, and
service manuals.
- Use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery,
fluid capacities, etc.
Applicant must possess basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and
able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a
reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to lift 70 lbs. daily.
- The Team Member will work on their feet for a period of 12 hours.
- The Team Member will complete all required training for the job.
- The Team Member will work in a cold, damp to hot environment.
- The Team Member will stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull,
and reach as required.
You will qualify for this position if you:
- Have 1 year industrial maintenance experience and/or industrial
maintenance education combined.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum
rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of
employment.
