Urban Designer

Job Description:
Here Design Studio, LLC. seeks an Urban Designer in Los Angeles, CA

Create urban design plans, maps, illustrations, and spatial analysis.
Develop infographics, project branding, and marketing collateral.
Contribute to creative community outreach initiatives, translating complex planning concepts into accessible, engaging visuals and narratives.
Prepare project-specific and marketing-related deliverables.
Manage design efforts on projects, applying innovative solutions to design challenges.
Produce urban planning reports, project summaries, streetscape concepts, conceptual plans, analysis maps, and branding materials.
Draft planning narratives, plan drawings, sketches, hand-drawn vignettes, street sections, logos, GIS visualizations, and photorealistic renderings.
Collaborate with Principals in the production of urban design critiques and outreach strategies.

Work Time: M-F; 9:00am to 6:00pm. 40 hrs/week.

Job Requirements:
Job entails working with and requires bachelors degree in Urban Planning, City Planning or relevant with Candidate must have 1-year professional experience in:

GIS-based spatial analysis and data visualization (ArcGIS, QGIS).
Transit-oriented development and transportation planning insights.
2D/3D visualizations and presentation materials (AutoCAD, Rhino,
Adobe Creative Suite).
Urban design proposals aligned with community and environmental goals.
Data analysis techniques (Python, R) for planning decisions.

Employers will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Employer will accept a bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of the requisite fields followed by 1 years of experience in the position Urban Designer or related.
