Project Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support Transmission & Distribution Infrastructure construction projects. Once will assist with schedule updates, job closeouts, construction documentation, change-orders and provide general support to ensure work readiness. This role is ideal for individuals with 1-5 years of experience in project coordination within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager with schedule updates and job closeout.
  • Support change order documentation, supplement, and tracking.
  • Ensure readiness for work by verifying permits, purchase orders, and closeout items.
  • Input schedules and notes into SCE scheduling tools, including Click Schedule.
  • Prepare change order documents such as Field Change Orders (FCO).
  • Update and track work orders for scheduling readiness using FMP360.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with project coordination and construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Familiarity with SCE-specific tools such as Click Schedule and FMP360 is a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with databases like Quickbase and Ragic.
  • Project management and administrative support skills.
  • Ability to drive to/from project sites and multiple locations as needed.
Work Environment

The role will primarily be based on a construction project site or layup yard, likely working from a trailer with access to construction bathrooms. The position involves mostly internal support with minimal client interaction. The initial location is near Magic Mountain - Valencia, Ventura, with potential relocation to various projects with varying locations for Southern California Edison.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
