**Position Summary**
Conducts repairs on multiple life safety systems to include Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, Clean Agent and Fire Pumps.

**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**
+ Able to troubleshoot and repair Fire Protection systems stemming from inspections and emergency calls.
+ Knowledge of disabling and enabling fire alarm panels for system service.
+ Select pipe sizes, types or related materials, such as supports and hangers, for layout and installation.
+ Ensures appropriate materials are provided based on working knowledge of fire protection system repair.
+ Performs cutting, fitting, and pipe connection using threaded, soldered, brazed or grooved joints and utilizes a variety of hand tools.
+ Inspects and tests installed systems using NFPA testing guidelines and approved equipment.
+ Completes required paperwork and reports on each job including daily time, progress, duration, record of parts, material and labor.
**Qualifications**
+ Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
+ Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
+ Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
+ Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.
**Requirements**
+ Able to meet all physical requirements.
+ Must have all required tools.
+ Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft).
+ Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
+ Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.
+ Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
+ All candidates offered a position must successfully pass pre-employment drug and background screens.
+ Must have valid Driver's License and clean Department of Motor Vehicles report.
