Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for outage and project planning to include manpower loading, scheduling, tool rentals, materials, hotel issues, travel arrangements, time cards and time sheets, billing, code compliance and documentation.*
- Tracks all time and materials on jobs and submits to the office for billing.*
- Submit billing for hard money jobs and gets sign offs from customers at the end of a job or outage.*
- Submits invoices to operations for review before they are submitted for payment.*
- Performs additional or T+M work as possible during an outage and tracks work and gets it approved.
- Ensures all jobs are being worked in a safe manner.
- Works with operations Loss Prevention to reduce the number of recordable injuries, provides a safer workplace for employees and reduces the cost of coverage to the company.
- Responsible for the quality of all projects including inspections in the field or in the shop.
- Assures code requirements are met and documented on all assigned work.
- Responsible for the quality of all projects including inspections in the field or in the shop.
- Schedules manpower when necessary to respond to emergency calls at all times.
- Coordinates with customers to satisfy their emergency needs.
- Acts as a first point of contact for emergency service.
- Services all existing accounts for emergency and planned outage work
- Promotes company at all times and seeks out additional work when possible.
- Promotes a positive image for the company within the industry.
- Looks for new customers and new revenue streams.
- Maintains and grows existing accounts as well as seeks out and develop new accounts.
- Seeks and hires the best possible labor force and develops both full time and part time employees to improve safety, quality and overall performance.
- Maintains a positive attitude and work ethic.
- Takes the initiative and interest to maintain morale through example.
- Takes a personal interest in every aspect of a job.
- Develops a positive attitude in the rest of the crew.
- Responsible for knowing and understanding all company policies and procedures and enforces policies at all times.
- Manages four subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 30 to 40 employees in the Field Service department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises 15 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, profession journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in the situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written,, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- To perform this job successfully, and individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Certifex, payroll systems, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook.

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
