Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing customer RFQs including documents, specifications, drawings, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
  • Identify gaps in information, conflicts within the specifications, and missing data needed to properly assess the scope of work.
  • Provide support to the Account Managers and Operations teams during the pre-bid process which includes participating in calls with customers, pre-bid meetings and job site walks.
  • Performing material takeoffs to develop Bill of Materials and estimate material costs.
  • Work with operations to determine project execution plan, assess labor costs to execute the project and evaluate mobilization and demobilization costs.
  • Develop detailed project cost estimates.
  • Develop completed proposal for evaluation and approval by Operations and Sales teams.
  • Provide clarifications based on the specific type of work and defined scope of what we are proposing.
  • Consults with engineering and operations departments as required.
  • Keep up-to-date records on proposals, customer communications, and details of meetings in the format required using Salesforce and other systems.
  • Prepare and present technical presentations on products and services.
  • Support Sales participating in meetings with clients as required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent experience with emphasis on business, marketing, mathematics, engineering, or similar discipline or AMPP CP2 certification or comparable cathodic protection experience.
  • Strong understanding of cathodic protection applications in mid-stream and other markets.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret specifications, drawings, technical standards, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write proposals, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to perform basic CP design calculations such as surface area, current density, anode life
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and with Salesforce or equivalent CRM.

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
