Fitter/Welder MIG & FLUX

We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder to join our team in Northwest Houston. This welding role consists of using MIG and FLUX with a strong emphasis in blueprint reading and fit up. All candidates will be required to pass a weld test and fitting exam.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform structural welding tasks using MIG and FLUX core processes
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Fit and assemble structural components and frameworks
Set up and operate the welding machine safely.
Measure accurately and cut material to be welded.

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in MIG and FLUX welding, must pass an uphill 3G weld test.
Prior experience as a fitter, MUST pass a written Fitting Exam
Ability to read blueprints and interpret fabrication drawings
Welding Certificate is a plus but not required.
Bilingual is a plus
