Heavy Equipment Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with over three years of commercial construction experience. You will be working for an excavating, grading, and utility contractor serving Blount County and surrounding areas. The role requires safe and effective operation of various types and sizes of heavy civil construction equipment, including dozers, tractors, scrapers, loaders, and excavators. You must be willing to assist with any labor tasks efficiently and adhere to on-site management instructions while following all company safety policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate heavy civil construction equipment such as dozers, tractors, scrapers, loaders, and excavators safely and effectively.
+ Assist with labor tasks as required and follow instructions from on-site management.
+ Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, skid steers, loaders, and front-end loaders.
+ Experience in civil construction, including excavation, trenching, grading, and fine grading.
+ Ability to work with GPS systems and solar equipment.
+ Knowledge of civil site and construction operations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ GPS experience is a plus.
+ Experience with track hoes and rollers in civil construction settings.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
